Delta-13 Interview: Meet Our New Kid “Del!”

 

Delta-13 would like you to meet their “Kid Del”! He’s a great kid and an awesome pool player! Let’s get to know Del better...

Hey Del! How are you? Hey, I’m great!

That’s awesome, we are so happy to have you as Delta-13’s official Kid!

I love being Delta-13’s Kid! I also love Billiards.

Del how old are you? I am 13 years old.

When did you start playing pool? We grew up with a pool table in our home, so I have been playing since I was 4. My Dad has video of me making in my first pool ball in the corner pocket, he was so proud!

What is your trick shot name? “The Kid“  (Jimmy Reid also has this nickname!)

What do you want to tell other kids and adults out there that play pool? The more you practice, the better you will get. I also find it helpful to have a pool mentor that can help you along the way...My mentor is Florian Kohler.

There are professional players, which we know is what you want to be when you grow up? Yes, I am working on becoming a professional player...I practice everyday to improve my skills and participate in lots of tournaments where I can show my skills. Right now, I am working on getting more sponsors, which will help promote me as a trick shot artist, with an end result of a professional title.

Who are your favorite Trick Shot Artists? I sure do love watching Mr. Florian “Venom” Kohler with all of his crazy trick shot ideas and great videos!

Who would you like to compete against? Someone who is closer to my age that I think would be great competition is Matthew “The Stinger” Webber! I would be honored to either work on trick shots with him or compete against him.

What’s your favorite trick shot? The one with 3+ of our racks stacked on top of each other. You hit the cue ball, replacing one of the balls on one of the three corners (holding the racks up).

Why do you always carry around your Elite rack? I carry around my Delta-13 Elite rack because I love it SO much and want everyone to know about how great it is!

Why do you love keeping up on Delta-13 socials, and why should everyone? There blogs are so informative! I learn new things every time they post. Once a month, Brian Pauley does cool trick shots that everyone tries and shares with Delta-13 on their page. These help expand my skills.  Delta-13 also creates and posts fun images that us pool players just love!

Oh and I almost forgot...You get to see pictures with their NEW Olhausen pool table from Fodor Billiards! It is jaw dropping :)
